All about…

Savánnah Mehran has a lifetime passion for dance and music. Savánnah found her passion for dance very early in life, at the age of 2. She dances across genres such as Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Pointe, African, Continuum, Tap, and Improvisation. She is also a singer, songwriter, and plays musical instruments including ukulele, guitar and piano.

Currently, she is a Senior at Hofstra University double majoring in Dance and Psychology with a Drama minor and a part in the Honors College. She aspired to follow her passions, expand her artistic language as well as her passion for psychology and the human mind. Savánnah has been inspired by mentors that have helped her grow and learn. Through this, she has developed ideas to implement the arts, in which she has such a passion, as a form of therapy for children. Her curiosity inspires her to seek adventure everywhere she goes.

Savánnah has been expanding her outlets over the past year at Hofstra University and has found an interest in being a part of her college radio station. Being a DJ on WRHU Radio Hofstra University, she is able to work with music in which she has such a passion for as well as practice speaking live on the air.
